Liberty Reserve Notice about investments
We often get scam emails pertaining to be from offering investment plans and sometimes asking people to create an API to get paid or refund etc., all such emails are send by scammers who are just after money and sometimes new investors even fall in such traps. In order to inform and educate members, there was a news posted at the LR blog informing about such scam emails. Just remember that Liberty Reserve DOES NOT offer ANY investment opportunities directly or indirectly. You can read the official news below -

It has come to our attention that there have been reports of e-mails appearing to be sent from Liberty Reserve web site regarding an investment opportunity. Please note that Liberty Reserve DOES NOT offer ANY investment opportunities directly or indirectly. The ONLY business Liberty Reserve is in – to execute instructions of our customers correctly, securely and in timely manner regarding their transfers to other Liberty Reserve account holders. Any claims otherwise by anyone are false and misleading. We ask you to forward all suspicious e-mails to our abuse department via ticketing system so that we can investigate the source and take appropriate action against those in violation of our Terms of Service. Please always exercise extreme caution when conducting any business on-line and perform your own due diligence on any entity you wish to do business with on-line. This does not only apply to Liberty Reserve account holders, but it is a good practice in general. Always remember: if the deal sounds too good to be true – it probably is!

I guess this message was sent a little too late. I’m sure many were already victimized by the scammers behind this. Oh well. We learn from our mistakes.
May be but LR always said that they do not offer any investment opportunity.. we have a popular saying here – “When you wake up the morning” so at least they posted about it which is good.
i ever got email about win the $400 bonus. there is a form i must fill such like API Code. fortunatelly i not joined that program yet. Please don’t give your API code to someone else.

i just withdraw money to my Libertyreserve account. I got email announced that i had received money to my LR. But why when i check my LR account the money not there at that moment?. The money came about 3 minutes after that.
It might be a server problem.
