Liberty Reserve Hacked

Hello friends, there are a lot of stories these days about Liberty Reserve hacked. Well I did not believe it until yesterday when one of my Liberty Reserve account got hacked and I lost some money. The hacker did not access my Gmail account linked to my Liberty reserve account but still manages to get the verification codes. Anyways I am not alone as many other people reported the same which you can check in this forum thread – http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r352988-.html and this one - http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r355268-.html.
How I know that my email is not compromised? Well I checked the security logs for my gmail account and there was no activity between day before yesterday and yesterday when this hacking took place. Liberty reserve verification emails were also unread though those can be set as unread but I don’t think it is the case as gmail logs does not show login from any other place then mine.
Other thing which I did not understand was how the hacker got my personal details? I mean when you reset your login pin LR send you a verification code and ask you for verification code, your security answer and a random question based on your personal information. The hacker knew all that information which I set 3 years ago.
The hacker is too smart, he/she made my balance public and created an API so that he/she can withdraw money again. You can see the image below how the hacker entered my account -
I accept my mistake that I kept money in my Liberty Reserve account for a week. A lesson learnt and so I hope you guys will learn as well and won’t keep much funds in your Liberty Reserve account, withdraw money on daily basis if possible. Alternatively you can use Perfect Money or Solid Trust Pay or Alertpay according to your convenience until Liberty Reserve tighten up their security.
I reported this hacking to the abuse department of Liberty Reserve but as we all know they wont’ be helping out in any such situation. So any hope from them will be just useless. They should accept that there is a security hole somewhere on the website of Liberty Reserve or some insider having access to the database is doing all this hacking. Well we obviously don’t know the real reason behind all this and I don’t know if we ever will get to know about it.
Do not keep much funds in Liberty Reserve, it is not at all safe out there.
